Last month, we hosted our first annual HOPE, EMPOWER, LEAD & PROMOTE conference. Held December 14-15 at Albuquerque’s Doubletree Hotel, this conference was the first of its kind for Help New Mexico employees.
The conference was developed to strengthen the relationships we have with each other as well as continue development and training to better impact and bring about positive change within the communities we serve.
With over 25 counties being supported throughout New Mexico with a wide array of programming and services, the conference’s team-building activities and educational presentations were of equal importance alongside learning the latest in best practices for programming.
We offer adult education services, job training, early childhood education and development, youth development and care, self-help, housing construction, rural health clinics, land development, job placement, literacy training, affordable housing, nutritious meals and family counseling. Clearly, an offering this diverse takes a team of high-energy professionals from all backgrounds committed to the people we serve.
After the conference, we returned to our communities – from Farmington to Las Cruces and everywhere in between – ready to address the issues affecting the populations living in the areas we serve. We are proud to advocate, empower and advance New Mexicans.
