(Santa Fe, N.M.) New Mexico’s 53rd legislature declared February 7th, 2018, “Help-New Mexico, Inc. Day” in the Senate. Introduced by Senator Pete Campos, the memorial was declared in honor of the organization’s rich tradition of community service and commitment.
Founded in 1965, Help New Mexico provides a wide array of services to adults, teens, seniors, and children in 22 counties throughout the state. Services include adult education, job training, early childhood development and education, youth development and care, literacy training, affordable housing, nutritious meals, and family counseling. Over the years, more than 1 million people have been impacted by the services provided. Help New Mexico is honored to have received recognition for its superior services.
