Position: Accountant – Accounts Receivable and Cash Management

Position: Staff Development Director

The Staff Development Director (SDD) is responsible for planning, designing, and developing a high-quality training and professional development program that aligns with the organization’s vision, mission, core values, as well as all regulatory requirements.  This individual will provide leadership in implementing effective coaching practices, which enhance the quality of early childhood educational services and support the ongoing professional development of early childhood professionals, as well as supervises the Mentor/Coaches. The SDD will aggregate and analyze multiple sources of data to develop individual and program wide professional development activities, which support the agency’s school readiness goals.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child/Family Science or related field;
  • Extensive experience in the management of child development programming.
  • CLASS reliability certification is preferred or ability willing to obtain CLASS reliability certification within six months of hire is required.

Position requires assuring achievement of all deliverables, compliance with all Federal, State, and local Northern Local Workforce Development Board policies, and coordination with existing DOL programs.  This position plans and implements program initiatives, participates in the generation of the programs resources and the design and development of the programs outreach efforts to increase participation with individuals, businesses, training and higher education institutions. This position will supervise assigned staff across ten counties

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Social Work Administration, Business or related field is preferred.  However, experience may be substituted for education depending on relevance and verifiability.  Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with workforce development or social services programs and at least five (5) years of supervisory skills.

CEL are responsible for outreach activities including identifying and recruiting eligible participants and meeting enrollment, placement and other common measures dictated by the Department of Labor. This position is also responsible for coordinating and implementing the recruitment of potential participants seeking job placements, higher education and social service activities.

Position: Vocational Instructor for YouthBuild

Location: Espanola, New Mexico

Position Reports to:   Program Coordinator for YouthBuild

This position will ensure YouthBuild participants (ages 16 through 24) are prepared and pass all modules of the selected construction trades curriculum.  The instructor will also teach and oversee young adults in the performance of tasks related to rehabilitation and/or construction of affordable housing and other civic service projects and provide supportive guidance and encourage the development of academic, life management and personal growth skills.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge of methods and skills in the use of carpentry equipment, materials, and tools, and common hazards and necessary safety precautions required.

Proven ability to present and provide instruction in areas related to remodeling and new construction.

Ability to relate to, lead, and instruct populations of young adults ages 16 – 24.

Passion for working with young people of diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds to reorient their lives, develop leadership skills, and make a difference in their community.

OSHA certified with first aid and CPR training required within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.

Position Overview

Executive Director for the New Mexico Association of Community Partners (NMACP) Board of Directors. The Mission of the NMACP is to improve and grow the strategic and fiscal capacity of member Community Action Agencies to fully engage and fulfill their mission and community objectives.

The Executive Director will be required to assist NMACP to work together to further the goals and objectives of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Act and its amendments; to bring about more effective cooperation between NMACP, Commission or Departments of State, Federal, Regional Offices and other public/ private organizations pledged to the alleviation of poverty; to develop plans and implement programs to further the professional skill through continuing education activities, conferences and workshops; and to provide a forum and recommended solutions to mutual concerns, issues, problems and needs of NMACP entities and their professional service relationships.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Bachelor’s degree plus four years of management experience in the human service field; or

Eight years of management experience in the human service field

  • Promote the purposes and objectives of NMACP
  • Manage the business affairs of NMACP
  • Pursue funding opportunities including grants
  • Complete contract reporting requirements
  • Provide fiscal oversight and budgeting
  • Conduct training for member agencies
  • Disseminate information relevant to member organizations, including funding opportunities, and legislative alerts
  • Maintain local, state and federal support for the objectives of NMACP
  • Carry out NMACP goals, objectives and directives
  • Provide support to NMACP and its Committees in carrying out their responsibilities by providing staff work and studies on key issues facing NMACP
  • Utilize effectively and efficiently NMACP staff and resources in carrying out the objectives
  • Respond to questions and assistance from NMACP stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Provide services specified in NMACP contracts and maintain documentation of the services provided
  • Maintain sound fiscal and administrative management policies and procedures
