Position Reports to:   Community Support Director

 

 

Essential Duties:

The Intern Coordinator will collaborate with county and partner staff to promote the success of the Summer Internship Program by developing and implementing effective programming and support for interns and employers.  This will include assisting with recruitment and selection of local youth to participate in a 6-week work skills internship.  

 

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma required.  Associate’s Degree preferred. 

Experience

  • Work experience in areas related to education, case-management, workforce training, youth programming, youth recreation, or mentorship.
  • Experience in work-based learning or service-learning program development and implementation.
  • Involvement with high school aged youth, parents and families.
  • Ability to present to groups and facilitate learning experience.
  • Experience working directly with and in programs that serve opportunity youth.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

Must pass background check. 

Salary:  $25.00 per hour

Position: Intern Coordinator

Location: Cibola County, Colfax County, McKinley County, Taos County

Monday-Friday, Non-exempt, 40 Hours/Week for 10 Weeks

Position Reports to:   Community Support Director

 

 

Essential Duties:

The Intern Coordinator will collaborate with county and partner staff to promote the success of the Summer Internship Program by developing and implementing effective programming and support for interns and employers.  This will include assisting with recruitment and selection of local youth to participate in a 6-week work skills internship.  

 

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma required.  Associate’s Degree preferred. 

Experience

  • Work experience in areas related to education, case-management, workforce training, youth programming, youth recreation, or mentorship.
  • Experience in work-based learning or service-learning program development and implementation.
  • Involvement with high school aged youth, parents and families.
  • Ability to present to groups and facilitate learning experience.
  • Experience working directly with and in programs that serve opportunity youth.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

 

Must pass background check.

Salary:  $25.00 per hour
