Position: Information Technology Specialist I

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Monday-Friday, Exempt, 40 Hours/Week with Benefits

Position Reports to:   HELP New Mexico, Inc. President and CPLC Information Technology Manager

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

The Information Technology Specialist I is a support member within the Information Management & Technology Services Department and will provide support services for computers, peripherals, servers, network equipment and software/hardware needs. This position will work closely with all IMTS members, end-users and coordinate support efforts with 3rd Party support vendors whether onsite or remotely. This position will have an emphasis on customer support to provide excellent customer service for  all end users.

 Requirements:

Two-year degree in Computer Science and/or Technical School Completion required or three years of experience in computer operations or providing technical computer support for users with some networking and telecommunication support. Must possess excellent communication skills. Certifications in A+, Network+, and MCSE (2016 track) are desirable but not required. Position: Community Support Advocate

Location: Bernalillo/Sandoval County

Position Reports to:  Community Services Director

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

Under the direct supervision of the Community Services Director, the Community Support Advocate is responsible for outreach activities that result in enrollment for HELPNM’s workforce development programs.  They will conduct weekly outreach activities by attending events, creating events and conducting orientation workshops.  This position will be responsible for working closely with the team to assure goals are met and all partners are aware of the programming and eligibility requirements.

 

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree from an accredited two-year junior college in Family Studies and two (2) years of progressive experience in all aspects of either employment and/or training programs, social services and/or with the low income population.  Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Position: Lead Teacher

Location: Tularosa, New Mexico

Monday-Friday, Non-exempt, 40 Hours/Week with Benefits

Position Reports to:   Regional Manager

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Plan, prepare, and develop classroom curriculum and carry out all classroom activities which includes supervision of children and working with families
  • Responsible for the overall health, safety, quality of care and education for children, record-keeping and reporting.
  • Overall management and oversight of the licensed facility and its’ staff, children, parents, and community served.
  • Supervise, mentor, assist and train center staff accordingly.
  • Adheres and maintains all federal, state, and agency program standards at the center level.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or a Child Development Associate (CDA) or New Mexico Child Development Certificate (NM-CDC)
  • A minimum of two-years’ experience in an early childhood setting
  • Experience in coordination of services, management of space and supervisory
  • Current Driver’s License, First Aid/CPR certifications
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Position: Substitute

Location: Tularosa, New Mexico

Days Vary Depending on Need, Non-exempt, 20 Hours/Week

Position Reports to:  Tularosa Lead Teacher

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • General Responsibilities –In the absence of the classroom teacher, the substitute is responsible for providing instruction and managing the learning environment.  Must supervise children at all times.  The position reports to the Center Manager or Lead Teacher at the location to which they are assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Completion of 12-24 clock hours of annual training in early childhood
  • Willingness to work on an on-call basis
  • Reliability and Dependability are a must
