Position: Outreach Representative

Location: Albuquerque Office

Position Reports to:  Supportive Services Director

Duties:

Recruit, enroll and train providers in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), visit and monitor all approved providers, monitor and verify providers’ menus, maintain active caseloads of family childcare providers, monitor compliance with CACFP, registration and tribal authority as appropriate.  Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in general office procedure with strong data entry skills.  Case management experience and working with the public is desirable.  Recruitment and public presentation experience a plus.  Ability to work with the public, able to communicate in English/Spanish.   A nutritional background would be helpful.  Must be comfortable entering a provider’s homes.  Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.  Must be willing to travel, over age 21 for insurance purposes, have a valid New Mexico driver’s license, clean driving record and have own transportation.

Position: Case Manager for Region 2

This will provide case management services to families of infant, toddler and preschool children, as well as expectant mothers.  In partnership with parents, the Case Manager will develop mutually trusting relationships, act as an advocate for families, and provide support services as deemed necessary.  The Case Manager will assist families in developing strategies and timetables for achieving their goals and provide crisis intervention when deemed necessary.  Responsible for a designated regional area within the program’s service location. Position: Foster Grandparent Program/Senior Companion Program (FGP/SCP) Van Driver

Location: Espanola, New Mexico

Under the supervision of the FGP/SCP Project Coordinator, the Van Driver is responsible for transporting Volunteers from the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion to and from their home to worksites.  This person is also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the FGP/SCP vehicle.

 

Some direct responsibilities include:

  1. Make daily pick-up and delivery of volunteers requiring transportation.
  2. Perform minor maintenance and repairs to vehicles.
  3. Maintain the van according to state and local safety requirements, (i.e., spare tire, jack, tire tools, flares, fire extinguisher, etc.)
  4. Assist in the cleaning and upkeep of the vehicle
  5. Must complete required documentation accurately (daily log, bus schedules, transportation, vehicle maintenance logs, etc.).
  6. Conduct self in professional manner upholding the values and philosophies of the Agency and Program.
  7. Participate as a staff member in the obtainment of program objectives.

Position: Foster Grandparent Program/Senior Companion Program (FGP/SCP) Van Driver

Position: Community Support Advocate
