Position: Compliance Monitor

Location:  Albuquerque

Position Reports to:   Compliance Coordinator

Duties:

As a team member of the Quality Compliance division, this position ensures that the information and analysis needs of local and regional offices are met by measuring the effectiveness and impact of all programs. The Compliance Monitor reviews related files and submissions for accuracy and assists with guidance to program and partner staff in the implementation of outcomes, tracking goals and indicators for data entry. Adherence to proper program stewardship and monitoring for compliance requirements for all HELPNM programs. This team provides continuous support to allow program staff to focus on customers and program delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited two-year college in Accounting or Business Administration plus two (2) years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, budgeting principles and administrative activities.  Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Position: Case Manager for Region 1

Position Reports to:   PFCE Director

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

 

This will provide case management services to families of infant, toddler and preschool children, as well as expectant mothers.  In partnership with parents, the Case Manager will develop mutually trusting relationships, act as an advocate for families, and provide support services as deemed necessary.  The Case Manager will assist families in developing strategies and timetables for achieving their goals and provide crisis intervention when deemed necessary.  Responsible for a designated regional area within the program’s service location. This position will also comply with all funding source standards, agency policies and written content area plans.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in social services, human services, adult education, family services, early childhood education or other related field and willing to pursue Bachelor’s Degree;

Position: Secretary for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Program

Position: Foster Grandparent Program/Senior Companion Program (FGP/SCP) Van Driver

Location: Espanola, New Mexico

Position Reports to:   Community Services Director

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

Under the supervision of the FGP/SCP Project Coordinator, the Van Driver is responsible for transporting Volunteers from the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion to and from their home to worksites.  This person is also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the FGP/SCP vehicle.

 

Some direct responsibilities include:

  1. Make daily pick-up and delivery of volunteers requiring transportation.
  2. Perform minor maintenance and repairs to vehicles.
  3. Maintain the van according to state and local safety requirements, (i.e., spare tire, jack, tire tools, flares, fire extinguisher, etc.)
  4. Assist in the cleaning and upkeep of the vehicle
  5. Must complete required documentation accurately (daily log, bus schedules, transportation, vehicle maintenance logs, etc.).
  6. Conduct self in professional manner upholding the values and philosophies of the Agency and Program.
  7. Participate as a staff member in the obtainment of program objectives.
  8. Participate in Group/Staff Activities (i.e., Monthly In-Service meeting).

Position: Foster Grandparent Program/Senior Companion Program (FGP/SCP) Van Driver

Location: Las Vegas, New Mexico

Position Reports to:   Community Services Director

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

Under the supervision of the FGP/SCP Project Coordinator, the Van Driver is responsible for transporting Volunteers from the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion to and from their home to worksites.  This person is also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the FGP/SCP vehicle.

 

Some direct responsibilities include:

  1. Make daily pick-up and delivery of volunteers requiring transportation.
  2. Perform minor maintenance and repairs to vehicles.
  3. Maintain the van according to state and local safety requirements, (i.e., spare tire, jack, tire tools, flares, fire extinguisher, etc.)
  4. Assist in the cleaning and upkeep of the vehicle
  5. Must complete required documentation accurately (daily log, bus schedules, transportation, vehicle maintenance logs, etc.).

Position: Foster Grandparent Program/Senior Companion Program (FGP/SCP) Coordinator

Position Reports to:   Community Services Director

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

Under general supervision of the Community Services Director, assists in the day-to-day operation of the FGP/SCP programs and coordinates volunteer recruitment, training, and worksite visits.  Performs clerical duties for the FGP/SCP programs and other duties as assigned. 

Some direct responsibilities include:

  1. As directed by the Community Services Director, conducts recruitment presentations at various senior centers for the purpose of signing up volunteers for FGP/SCP.
  2. Determines eligibility for participation in the volunteer programs.
  3. Assist the Community Services Director with monthly project reports.
  4. In conjunction with Community Services Director, reviews and interviews volunteer applicants.
  5. Process enrollment information – including Physical Exam, TB test results and Background Check.
  6. Process client referrals.
  7. Assist the Community Services Director in the planning and presenting Pre-Service Orientation and Monthly In-Service training.
  8. Conduct worksite visits at least quarterly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in social work; or 1½ years of related work experience for every year of college education. Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with Foster Grandparent/Senior Companion Programs or similar programs and at least two (2) years of supervisory skills.
  • Must be at least age 21 for insurance purposes, have own transportation and a valid NM driver’s license.
