Position: Outreach Representative

Location: Albuquerque Office

Monday-Friday, Non-exempt, 40 Hours/Week with Benefits

Position Reports to:  Supportive Services Director

 

Duties:

Recruit, enroll and train providers in Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), visit and monitor all approved providers homes/centers, monitor and verify providers’ menus, maintain active caseloads of family child care providers, monitor compliance with CACFP, registration and tribal authority as appropriate.  Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in general office procedure with strong data entry skills.  Case management experience and working with the public is desirable.  Recruitment and public presentations a plus.  Ability to work with the public, able to communicate in English/Spanish, nutritional background helpful.  Must be comfortable entering provider’s homes.  Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.  Must be willing to travel, over age 21 for insurance purposes, have a valid New Mexico driver’s license, clean driving record and have own transportation.

Salary:  $31,200 ($15.00 per hour)

Position: Client Intake Specialist

Position: Community Support Advocate

Multiple Locations (Rio Arriba, San Miguel, Santa Fe and Taos Counties)

Monday-Friday, Non-exempt, 40 Hours per Week with Benefits

The Community Support Advocate is responsible for outreach activities that result in enrollment of participants in workforce development programs.  They will conduct weekly outreach activities by attending and creating events, and conducting orientation workshops.  This position will be responsible for working closely with the team to assure goals are met and all partners are aware of the programming and eligibility requirements.

 

Requirements include:  Associate’s Degree from an accredited two-year junior college and two (2) years of progressive experience in all aspects of either employment and/or training programs, social services and/or working with the low income population.  Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling four (4) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Position: Preschool Teacher Assistant

Position Reports to:   Lordsburg Center Manager

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Under the supervision of the Classroom Teacher, is responsible for carrying out program activities in conformance with all regulations, practices and policies. In the absence of the Teacher, the Teacher Assistant will assume the duties and responsibilities of a Teacher.

Requirements:

Must comply with established policies and procedures. This position is customer service based and does not involve case management.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED and two (2) progressive years of experience in general office procedures and customer service. Social services experience is a plus.

Position: Case Manager

Location: Region 1 (Otero/Sierra Counties)

Monday-Friday, Non-Exempt, 40 Hours/Week with Benefits

Position Reports to:   PFCE Director

 

Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

 

This will provide case management services to families of infant, toddler and preschool children, as well as expectant mothers.  In partnership with parents, the Case Manager will develop mutually trusting relationships, act as an advocate for families, and provide support services as deemed necessary.  The Case Manager will assist families in developing strategies and timetables for achieving their goals and provide crisis intervention when deemed necessary.  Responsible for a designated regional area within the program’s service location. This position will also comply with all funding source standards, agency policies and written content area plans.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in social services, human services, adult education, family services, early childhood education or other related field and willing to pursue Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Minimum of one-year experience working with adults and/or children;
  • Minimum of one-year experience collecting, organizing, recording and processing information;
  • Able to problem solve; manage time effectively and work as a team player;
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs, such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)

Position: Housing Case Manager

Location:  Clovis, New Mexico

Position Reports to:  Supportive Services Director

 

Duties:

Work with individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homelessness assistance.  Support efforts to mitigate the impacts created by COVID -19 under the Emergency Solutions Grant program. Work closely with partners, landlords, and families to ensure safe living opportunities. Determine eligibility, provide case management, ability to inspect living environments and work with other partners to provide wrap around services.  Supports could include: short term financial assistance for housing, utility assistance, and moving costs. In addition, work with each client to develop a plan and achieve their goals and objectives set with Case Manager. Advocate for clients to assure safe living environment that meets HUD standards and assure rental costs are reasonable. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Social Work or related degree, graduate degree or comparable experience.   Social services and accounting background experience is a plus. Prior experience with homeless population or populations with high clinical needs.

Salary:     $43,680 ($21.00 per hour)
