HELPNM AND CPLCNM WELCOME ADDITIONAL SITES TO THE CACFP PROGRAM

CPLC NM and HELP New Mexico Inc. are proud to sponsor Jocelyn’s Daycare  in Bernalillo County as well as Cub Academy Childhood Development Center in Guadalupe County
for the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).

CACFP reimburses day care centers, before- and after-school programs, and centers for at-risk and homeless teens for the meals they feed children under their care.

HSD PARTNERS WITH HELPNM TO PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING SERVICES TO SNAP PARTICIPANTS

The New Mexico Human Services Department announced beginning today, HELP New Mexico, Inc. (HELPNM) will begin statewide administration of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment and Training (E&T) program, in coordination with HSD.

SNAP E&T is available to all SNAP customers between the ages of 16 and 59, who are not receiving cash benefits through HSD, applying for or receiving unemployment compensation benefits, and who are able and willing to work upon completion of the program.

PED SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

HELPNM is now accepting applications for our PED Summer Enrichment Program.

If you are you enrolled for the 2021 school year, or you are you a recent graduate who lives in Rio Arriba, Taos, San Miguel, Colfax, Mora or Cibola County we encourage you to apply now.

HELPNM TO PROVIDE HOUSING STABILIZATION SERVICES

Housing stabilization assistance will be provided to the following Counties Applications and interviews will be conducted at the following locations from 9 – 2 pm
 
Please bring the following: Copies of proof of income, household member information, photo ID. All applicants will meet face to face with a caseworker. Strict COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols will apply. Please wear a mask, be prepared for an entrance screening, and socially distance.

HELPNM is proud to partner with Gabe’s Place Child Care Center in Clovis NM. Through our Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), child care centers like Gabe’s Place are able to receive CACFP reimbursements for the meals provided that feed children under their care.
